How wide is the single swing gate?
The gate uses 48″ slat pieces and measures up to 53″ across its outside frame. This excludes side posts, hinge gaps and operating clearances. You can trim the gate leaf to fit your opening.
Can I trim the gate height?
Yes. Choose a 4′–6′ height in 6-inch increments, then trim the gate and included 6′ stopper to your finished height.
What comes with the single gate kit?
The materials list includes the two vertical frame posts, four frame caps, one frame end cover, matching included snap covers, regular and top slats, one 6′ stopper, two hinges and one pack of 50 #6 screws. Side posts and a latch are optional.
Are side posts included by default?
No side posts is selected by default. You can add two in-ground or wall-mounted side posts, with two additional caps and two additional end covers. A latch also defaults to No latch.
What should I confirm before installation?
Confirm local height and permit requirements, site conditions, suitable supports and the installation details for your chosen layout. Post foundations and anchors depend on the site and are not specified by these overview illustrations.
