How wide is the double swing gate?
Each leaf uses 48″ slat pieces and measures up to 53″ across the outside frame. Both leaves together are up to 106″, excluding side posts, hinge gaps and operating clearances. You can trim each gate leaf to fit your opening.
Can I cut the gate shorter?
Yes. Choose a height from 4′ to 6′ in 6-inch increments. You can trim the gate to your preferred height and cut the included 6′ stopper to match.
Which hardware is included?
The double swing kit has one 6′ gate stopper and four hinges, two for each leaf. A gate latch is optional and defaults to No latch. The gate frames use regular aluminum 2-channel post profiles. Side posts are optional and default to No side posts; when added, they use the same profile.
What should I confirm before installation?
Confirm local height and permit requirements, site conditions, suitable supports and the installation details for your chosen layout. Post foundations and anchors depend on the site and are not specified by these overview illustrations.
